The Structure of a Website

A good website is always well structured and easy to navigate around. It must not have too many levels, a poor and clumsy structure, or inadequate navigation control, any of which can leave your users both lost and frustrated.

The structure must be considered carefully at the initial design stage. It needs to be logical and orderly. Navigation bars and buttons must be clear, precise, and easy to use. This will ensure that it is both easy and quick to navigate around all areas of the site. Links must be complete and users must always be able to return back to the home page.
